Working with Projects

Projects help you organize reports for different websites or clients. They make it easy to track SEO progress over time and manage multiple sites.

What is a Project?

A project is a collection of related reports. Typically, you'd create one project per website or client:

Project: My Company Website
Homepage Report
Blog Page Report
Product Page Report

Creating a Project

Projects are created automatically when you create a report. Each unique domain becomes a project. You can also:

  • View all projects from the Projects page in the sidebar
  • Click on a project to see all reports for that domain
  • Export project report lists

Project Benefits

Organization

Keep related reports together for easy access and comparison.

Progress Tracking

See how your SEO scores improve over time by comparing reports.

Quick Filtering

Quickly filter reports by project to focus on one website at a time.

Bulk Export

Export all reports for a project at once.

Managing Projects

From the Projects page, you can:

  • View - See all reports associated with a project
  • Search - Find projects by domain name
  • Sort - Sort by date, number of reports, or domain name
  • Delete - Remove a project and optionally all its reports

Best Practices

  1. Analyze key pages first - Start with your homepage, main landing pages, and top-performing content
  2. Create regular reports - Run reports weekly or monthly to track progress
  3. Compare before and after - After making fixes, create a new report to see improvement
  4. Prioritize by traffic - Focus optimization efforts on your highest-traffic pages
Pro Tip: Create reports for your competitors' pages too (in separate projects) to benchmark your SEO against theirs.
